	Mr. Larry Medley and Mrs. Barbara Medley Mr. Larry Medley and his wife Mrs. Barbara Medley established the Pursuit of Excellence Scholarship in memory of his parents, Frank W. Medley, Sr. and Julia Gill Medley, who were teachers in the Monterey School System. Mr. Frank Medley, Sr. was not only a teacher but also a principal for Monterey High School. The donors' intent for this scholarship is to be awarded to a teacher interested in furthering his/her education (beyond the bachelor’s degree) through study towards a graduate degree from Tennessee Technological University.
