	Estate of Beverly Garrett Beverly Garrett, originally from Michigan but a resident of Cookeville for the last 20 years of her life, passed away in 2010. In a testament to her commitment to education, Mrs. Garrett left Tennessee Tech University over $400,000 to establish two endowments, the Garrett Family Nursing Endowment, in memory of her late daughter, and the Garrett Family Athletics Endowment, in memory of her late son.
